How To Hang and Dress Wave Curtains
A little extra care can make all the difference.
Step 1 – Inserting the Hooks
Place the hooks in the top row of pockets on the heading tape using the correct spacing. Please see breakdown below (your hook amount, spacing & fullness information can be found with your curtains), If you have trouble finding this information please contact one of the team.
Spacing 60mm & 2.1x Fullness:
The 1st hook goes in the 3rd pocket, leave 4 pockets between hooks, you should have 2 pockets at each end.
Spacing 60mm & 2.3x Fullness:
The 1st hook goes in the 3rd pocket, leave 5 pockets between hooks, you should have 2 pockets at each end.
Spacing 80mm & 2.1x Fullness:
The 1st hook goes in the 4th pocket, leave 6 pockets between hooks, you should have 3 pockets at each end.
Spacing 80mm & 2.3x Fullness:
The 1st hook goes in the 4th pocket, leave 7 pockets between hooks, you should have 3 pockets at each end.
Step 2 – Hanging the curtains
Working from the outside in of your track, the first hook should be placed in the fixed glider. The last hooks at each end of the curtain are to be inserted backward from the rear of the track rather than the front of the track like the other hooks.
Working along the track, insert the rest of the hooks (ignoring any other non-moving gliders) making sure the second hook goes into the first moving glider.
Step 3: Dress the Curtains
Draw the curtains back to their open position.
Starting from the outside edge, run your hand firmly down each pleat or fold to help them fall smoothly, you may need to pull certain sections forward and push other sections backwards.
